MEMORANDUM OPINION
This is an appeal from the trial court's order affirming a denial of unemployment benefits by the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission based on a determination that the employee had been discharged for misconduct connected with his work. Based on our review of the record on appeal and applicable law, we affirm. Bruce Arambula was an employee of the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). He was required to maintain and repair air monitoring equipment located in various sites around the state. He had been employed for four years by DEQ when he was given written notice of discharge. The notice stated that (1) "employee submitted false travel claims for the use of personal vehicle when in fact he used a State vehicle;" and, (2) "employee failed to perform his duties and submitted false travel claims for the use of personal vehicle when in fact he did not do the work for which he was paid wages and travel," as a result of which he was overpaid approximately $435.
